Acherontia atropos (Deaths head hawk moth) larvae X 10

£15.00Price

Death’s Head Hawk Moth caterpillars feed well on a broad selection of host plants, but some options consistently produce stronger growth than others. Privet is one of the most reliable choices, remaining nutritious throughout the year and supporting large, well‑formed adults. Lilac and Ash are also excellent during spring and summer when their foliage is fresh, but once the leaves begin to yellow in autumn they lose nutritional value and should be avoided. Tomato, potato, and other members of the Solanaceae family are also accepted, though growth quality can vary depending on the individual plant and season.
