A humid terrarium setup suits this species well, with a substrate blend of coconut fibre, sphagnum moss, and leaf litter to maintain moisture and support natural burrowing behaviour. Humidity should remain between 70–80% to keep the colony stable and active. Temperatures between 18–26°C (72–79°F) provide the best conditions for growth and reproduction.
Their diet should consist of decaying organic matter, leaf litter, and calcium‑rich foods such as crushed eggshells. Feeding lightly and consistently helps prevent mould buildup while ensuring the colony receives the nutrients it needs. Plenty of hiding places, including pieces of decaying wood and layers of leaf litter, help reduce stress and encourage natural activity.
Everything shipped will contain all life stages to help support a strong starter colony.
